The year started with great uncertainty. I had survived the culling at WISH, we were no longer a CBS Affiliate. I was happy doing my thing on my show, ready for another year. Yet I was very uncertain about the future of local TV and my career.
The month brought an ill wind in “Automation”. Our department and my moral suffered greatly as old friends were let go and our department laid bare.
One of THE best parts of my life is Scouting. These guys make life fun…
And rewarding! I was honored to be presented with the District Award of Merit for service above and beyond…
Big change as I left 25 years of TV to work for a non-profit.
We finally got moving on several projects that have been waiting for YEARS. Finally a backyard like we had in New York.
My new job took me to parts of Indy I have wanted to visit for a decade! Lunch at the City Market. What have I been missing?
It’s always great when you can spend a week in the woods…110 Scouts and 25 Adults descended on our favorite Summer Camp.
Is there any better way to end the summer then with GenCon?
We finally headed north and enjoyed a long weekend in Michigan! The RenFaire, Frankenmuth, Holland and the Lighthouses.
I have not tired of my job yet. I often wonder if I am doing it right or enough or should be doing something different. But my bosses are happy, I am happy and I am getting the job done traveling all over Central Indiana (ya, terrible)
My 1st Thanksgiving off since 1992! Spent time with family in New York and learned how to take a Selfie.
Christmas off and time with friends and family. There is really nothing like it in the world. I know not what the future holds, but I am pretty damn glad we are all along for the ride!
Peace. Love. And Joy
